Eleanor J. “Jean” Robinson, 90, Syracuse, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Kosciusko County, to Ralph and Eloise (Mabie) Method.

She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1945 from Syracuse High School. She was married on June 7, 1946, to Thomas E. “Tom” Robinson who proceeded her in death on May 26, 2001. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Switches in Goshen.
She was a former member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse.
She is survived by her sons: Donald (Kathi) Robinson, Syracuse; Ronald “Frog” Robinson, Etna Green; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-grandson: Sean Anderson; daughter-in-law: Deb Robinson; and brother: Theodore “Ted” Method.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Richard Maron of Calvary Tabernacle of Winona Lake officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse,is in charge of arrangements.
