KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department would like to recognize the Sheriff’s Department Swat Team for participating in the Indiana SWAT Officers Association Conference in Indianapolis earlier this week.

The Sheriff’s Department sponsored 10 Deputies and two SWAT medics for participation in the Conference. Deputies attended training in the following areas, carbine course (firearms), undercover operations, law enforcement tactical first response, terrorism ideologies, handgun operations, explosive breaching (building entries), high risk warrant planning and ballistic shield deployments.
