The tops of white tents placed throughout the front portion of the WACF property could be viewed approaching the property on SR 13. Twenty different organizations participated in the event.

Those arriving were given free tote bags and a coupon for a free hot dog, chips and water. Participants could also participate in an Earth Day scavenger hunt.

Adults as well as families strolled around the ground, visiting each of the vendors, learning about the watershed, how to make duck calls, taking nature photographs, plant trees, make seed balls, learn about the trails around the lake, see various duck and spear fishing decoys, learn about fly tying and even try your hand at archery.

Guests could also learn about geocaching, flint knapping (the making of arrowheads) and the different type of soils and much more.
