Diane Medlen, 75, Gobles, Mich., died at 1:32 p.m., April 13, 2018, at her residence.  She had resided there for three years coming from Stephenson, Ark.

She was born on July 24, 1942, to Richard and Mary Jane (Lantz) Drudge in Rochester. She graduated from Akron High School in 1960.

Surviving Diane Medlen are her sons: Richard (Beth) Medlen, Norfolk, Va.; Jeffery Medlen, Biloxi, Miss.; Michael (Ann) Medlen, Biloxi, Miss.; Mark Medlen, Biloxi, Miss.; two brothers: Denny (Cheryl) Drudge, Lafayette; Chuck (Darlene) Drudge, Akron; companion: Jack Captain, Gobles, Mich.; special daughter: Diane (Troy) Burnham; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren

Preceding her in death are her parents.

There will be a graveside service at a later date and burial will be in the Akron IOOF Cemetery.
