Penn SportsMISHAWAKA — Jeff Hart has been named the new athletic director at Penn High School effective May 1.

Hart has coached the Penn girls’ soccer team to back-to-back state championships in 2016 and 2017. The Kingsmen won a Class 3-A title last fall after winning the Class 2-A crown in 2016. Penn was also honored as the top prep team in the country following the 2017 season.

Hart replaces Aaron Leniski, who is now the Chief Operating Officer at Penn-Harris-Madison after the retirement of Dr. Denise Seger. As COO, Leniski responsibilities include overseeing Facilities, Transportation and Safety. He will also serve as a liaison for Penn High School’s Athletic Department.

Leniski had been athletic director at Penn since July of 2015.

Hart plans to continue as coach of the girls’ soccer program at Penn. His youngest daughter Regan is a senior at Penn and played on the two state title teams.
