Clint A. “Skip” Gabaree 56, Rochester, passed away at 11:41 P.M. Friday, March 30, 2018, in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on April 4, 1961, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Albert Earl II and Suzan K. (Gard) Gabaree.

He was an amazing artist. He worked for the Painters and Allied Trades Union for over thirty years. He loved spending time with his family and dogs, drawing, cooking, landscaping, following NASCAR, listening to his favorite artists, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, Doobie Brothers, Styx, Pink Floyd, Steve Miller Band and loved to watch movies. He also loved his sports, especially the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame and the Indianapolis Colts. He will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, uncle and friend.

Survivors include his children, Shane Sr. and wife Bernadette Gabaree, Loveland, Ohio; Jessica Gabaree, Mason, Ohio; grandchildren: Shane Gabaree Jr., Loveland, Ohio; Alexander Gabaree, Loveland, Ohio; brothers: Terrence R.L. Gabaree and companion Olga Pagan, Rochester; Albert E. and wife Deborah Gabaree III, Granger; sister, Deborah Ousley, Peru;several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ronna Sarvari and nephew, Carson C. Sarvari.

Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends are also invited to celebrate Skip’s life from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at his residence, 79 W. 500 South, Rochester.
