
A third person was arrested for residential burglaries that have occurred in the county in the last few weeks.
At approximately 2:56 a.m. today, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives took Landon John Lewis, 18, of CR 650 E., Akron, into custody on charges of felony burglary and theft.
On Monday, detectives received information that led them to Lewis’ Fulton County home. According to KCSD detectives, Lewis is connected to at least four residential burglaries in Kosciusko County.
Earlier this week police also arrested Corey Hurst Ritchie, 24, of Warsaw, and Zackery Hernandez, 23, Arthur Street, Warsaw, on similar charges. (See related story)
Lewis is preliminarily charged with felony burglary to a residence or dwelling and felony theft. His bond has been set at $20,000.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation that is currently still active as officers are retrieving various stolen items from the numerous burglaries.
