WARSAW — A local business began a program last fall with the goal of benefitting an elementary school in the Warsaw school system.

The Freedom Express CITGO location in Warsaw installed a “Spirit Pump” to help raise funds for Eisenhower Elementary School. The pump was installed Oct. 27, 2017 and ran through Dec. 22.

For every gallon of fuel purchased at the pump, five cents was donated to the school.

Last week a check for $1,506.89 was donated to the school as a result of the program.
