SOUTH BEND — Bald eagles at St. Patrick’s County Park have been incubating two eggs for a little longer than a month now, and there was some progress Saturday.

The eaglets made a pip, which is a small hole an eaglet makes as it’s trying to bust through the shell.

The eggs hatch after 35 days, and that would be by Monday.
