WARSAW — A Warsaw man was injured after a taxi rear-ended his vehicle on Friday, March 23.
David R. Hoagland, 50, South CR 675W, Warsaw, was driving east on Smith Street and was transporting passenger Jennifer L. Cullins, 47, via Fast Cab taxi services. While driving, Hoagland received a cell phone call and looked away from the roadway. He didn’t realize that a vehicle in front of him was stopped for traffic, causing him to rear-end the vehicle.
E.A. Farmer, 32, West Woodland Drive, Warsaw, was stopped on the road for traffic when Hoagland’s vehicle rear-ended him.
Farmer complained of pain in his body and neck area and was transported to the Kosciusko Community Hospital. Collins complained of pain in her back area, but declined medical attention on-scene.
Damages were estimated at up to $5,000.
