Michael W. “Mike” Stahly, 54, Syracuse, passed away at 4:58 a.m. on March 19, 2018, at his home. He was born on March 4, 1964, in Elkhart to Max S. and Charlene (Hartz) Stahly.

He attended Central High School in Elkhart, moved to Syracuse in 1981 from Elkhart, and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was married on Oct. 2, 1982, in Syracuse to Linda D. Ball who survives. He was formerly employed Keystone RV in Goshen for ten years and Dutchman Manufacturing in Goshen for ten years.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jade Knapp, Syracuse; three grandsons; a sister, Belinda (Butch) Bergelin, Denmark, Wisc.; two half-sisters: Tammy Ware, Osceola; Linda (Terry) Van Seggren, Denmark, Wisc.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent of Country Bible Church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw. Burial will be held at a later date in the Syracuse Cemetery.
