Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

• Sunday, Jan. 13, 5:42 p.m. South SR 15 near West 950 South, Silver Lake. Driver: Amber M. Day, 24, South 500 West, Silver Lake. Day lost control of her vehicle on the slick road and struck a ditch. Day suffered a minor facial burn. Damages: up to $5,000
• Saturday, Jan. 12, 3:13 p.m. North SR 19 near West 900 North, Warsaw. Driver: Donald H. Kline, 67, N. SR 19, Etna Green. Kline said he became sleepy and drifted off the road, striking a telephone pole. Damages: up to $10,000

Incidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Jan. 13, 10:58 a.m. Melissa Nabinger of Leesburg reported a theft from a vehicle.
• Jan. 12, 9:14 p.m. Police were called to a family fight in Syracuse. One male subject was arrested for battery.
• Jan. 11, 8 a.m. Brenda Blacklaw of Etna Green reported the windows of her vehicle had been broken. No entry to the vehicle was made.
• Jan. 11, 4:06 p.m. A Cromwell man reported a battery between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
• Jan. 8, 10:03 p.m. A domestic battery was reported in Warsaw.
• Jan. 9, 4 p.m. A Syracuse woman reported being the victim of intimidation.
• Jan. 9, 11:15 a.m. A battery among siblings was reported at a Warsaw home on West Old Road 30.
• Jan. 9, midnight. Amanda Stiver of Warsaw reported a door broken and her residence entered.
• Jan. 9, 5 p.m. Kevin Feldman of Warsaw reported a burglary at his residence.
