Incidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Jan. 13, 12:21 a.m. Dora Morales reported a possible burglary in progress at 1819 Sue Ave.
• Jan. 13, 1 a.m. Betty Vining called police to 805 N. Park Ave. where a man was reportedly beating and kicking on a door, possible trying to break in. Police made an arrest.
• Jan. 13, 7:35 a.m. A Warsaw woman reported being harassed and receiving threatening phone calls.
• Jan. 13, 5:44 p.m. Arturo Garcia of Warsaw reported a suspicious incident and/or person.
• Jan. 13, 6:45 p.m. Police served a warrant at 867 Oak Brook Place, where a man was arrested.
• Jan. 12, 8:25 a.m. John Larkin of Warsaw reported a lost ID.
• Jan. 12, 11 p.m. Warsaw Police served a warrant at 494 Clinic Ct. Markie Victoria Hellums was arrested.
• Jan. 11, 5:25 p.m. Kristopher Foor of Warsaw reported a lost military ID.
• Jan. 11, 7:12 p.m. Two people reported being battered.

Accidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

• Sunday, Jan. 13, 1:48 p.m. South Buffalo and East Prairie streets. Driver: Susan K. Brown, 51, South 100 West, Claypool. Brown was southbound on Buffalo Street when the vehicle in front of her stopped for a yellow light. She rear-ended the vehicle but the driver left the scene. Damages: up to $10,000
• Saturday, Jan. 12, 11:54 a.m. South Detroit and Jefferson streets. Drivers: Ronald L. Faulkner, 56, South West Point Drive, Warsaw; Sarah L. Masterson, 40, Herscher Drive, Warsaw; Ricardo Saldivar, 36, Ellsworth Street, Warsaw. Faulkner rear-ended Masterson’s vehicle forcing it into the rear of Saldivar’s vehicle. Damages: up to $25,000
• Friday, Jan. 11, 1:16 p.m. Lake City Highway. Drivers: Abdirizak Ali Ahmed, 32, Grand Avenue, Indianapolis; and Joan M. Perdue, 69, Jefferson Street, Rochester. Ahmed was westbound on Lake City Highway and merged into the right lane colliding with Perdue’s vehicle. Perdue complained of back pain. Damages: up to $10,000
• Friday, Jan. 11, 4:50 p.m. Lake City Highway and North Parker Street. Drivers: Justin W. Miller, 24, West Welch Road, Etna Green; and Jody J. Emmons, 49, East Ewing Avenue, South Bend. Miller merged from a turn lane and rear-ended Emmons’ vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000
