Kosciusko

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:46 a.m. Saturday, March 10, North Main Street and East Washington Street, North Webster. Drivers: Mark A. Brazis, 35, East CR 1000N, Syracuse, Adam M. Moore, 34, EMS D8 Lane, Syracuse. Both drivers were stopped at a red light facing south on North Main Street. Brazis said the light turned green and he proceeded forward, striking Moore’s vehicle in the rear. Moore told police he was waiting for an opportunity to turn left and had his turn signal engaged when his vehicle was struck by Brazis’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:07 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, East US 30, east of Springhill Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Michael A. Meador, 43, Jackson Street, Anderson, Debra M. Stills, 26, South Bourbon Street, Bourbon. Stills told police she was driving her vehicle eastbound on US 30 when the rear of her vehicle was struck by the front of Meador’s vehicle. Meador was stopped by police and reported he was not aware he was involved in a collision. Damage up to $2,500.

8:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, South SR 15, south of East Center Street. Drivers: John K. Whitaker, 47, East Orchard Street, Akron, and Jamie M. Phillips, 40, East Market Street, Warsaw. Whitaker was traveling north on SR 15 when Phillips’ vehicle abruptly stopped since she heard a firetruck’s siren. Whitaker’s vehicle rear-ended Phillips’. Damage up to $2,500.
