Barbara Ann Anderson, 75, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 11:58 p.m. Friday Jan. 11, 2013, in her residence.
On May 19, 1937, she was born in Warsaw, Ind., to Harold and E. Geneal (Poor) Wolford. She married Richard ‘Dick’ Anderson on Feb. 19, 1966, in Warsaw.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for Dick’s Wrecker and Welding and was formerly employed by Wolford Dry Cleaners as a clerk. She was a member of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw, for 22 years. Barbara was also an active organizer for class functions for the Warsaw High School Class of 1955. She enjoyed days at the lake, class luncheons, Warsaw Nostalgia, making her famous Blueberry Delight Dish and would encourage friends and family to “enjoy the moment.”
Barbara is survived by her husband; two sons: Ted A. Williams, Winona Lake; Terry L. Williams, Leesburg, Ind.; four grandchildren: T.J. and Brandon Williams, LaPorte, Ind.; Tara and Caroline Williams, Leesburg; and one great-grandchild: Josh Kelley, Leesburg. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Timothy John Williams.
A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19, at New Life Christian Church, Warsaw, with Pastor John B. Lowe officiating. A private interment service will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is handling the arrangements.
