WARSAW — Beginning Tuesday, March 13, The Gallery at Rua will feature a special showing of the selected works of award-winning illustrator Ron Mazellan entitled The Art Behind The Art.

The exhibit, located in the Brennan Room of Warsaw’s Rua restaurant, will run from March 13 through April 27, 2018, with a public artist reception on Friday, March 16, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ron Mazellan has been a faculty member for more than 20 years at Indiana Weslyan University, Marion.

His work has enriched such books as New York Times Bestsellers, “You Can Be A Friend,” and “The Longest Season.” Other notable titles include “The Harmonica,” “Finding Daddy,” “A is for Abraham” and “There Come Soldier.”

Mazellan has also been awarded The NAACP Image Award.
