MobilePack Steering Committee Plans Info Meeting

Warsaw MobilePack is a local effort that helps battle hunger in the community.

WARSAW — Warsaw Community School Corporation has announced an informational meeting of the Warsaw MobilePack steering committee for 5:15 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Warsaw Community Public Library Meeting Room AB.

The school corporation and the surrounding community have partnered with Feed My Starving Children since 2014 to make a difference in the fight against world hunger.

FMSC has announced the next Warsaw MobilePack event for Oct. 17-20, at the Gordon Recreation Center on Grace College Campus. More than 5,000 community volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved, including more than 2,000 Warsaw Community School students.

For the Feb. 27 steering committee meeting the committee invites community members, business leaders, church leaders and anyone affiliated with a club or an organization who wish to be a part of the event to attend.
