James E. “Turkey” Bailey, 78, Warsaw, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.

He was born on April 27, 1939, in Prestonsburg, Ky. to Grover and Maudie (Hale) Bailey.
He was a resident of Warsaw and Pierceton for the past 15 years. He was united in marriage to Elaine Hesner, who preceded him March 20, 2000. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Bailey of Florida; siste, Ruby Stephens of Pierceton; granddaughters: Elaina and Adaline; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Lawrence, Jack, Lowell, Ralph, Sam Henry, Russell, and Billy Ray.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, in God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 26, in God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. Reverend Bob Brown will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
