Talitha Day Fair, Ph.D., went on to be with Jesus from her Warsaw home at 5 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018. She had been struggling with health issues for several years.

Dr. Fair was born in Indianapolis to Joy (Day) and Ellis Fair. She spent a few childhood years with them in other states; Dr. Fair considered herself to be a Warsaw native, however. She was a 1964 graduate of Warsaw High School and lived in Warsaw intermittently while she attended Asbury College (graduating in 1968) and St. Francis College (graduating in 1972). She went on to earn a doctorate in psychology at Andrews University in 1987. In 1977, she and concerned friends founded Selah Christian Center, Inc., an alternative counseling and educational program which served children and adults in need of individualized assistance. She continued to work as a psychologist and director of Selah until 2013.

Talitha Fair was an active member of several Warsaw-area churches during her life and was involved at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends and thousands whom she helped throughout her career.

Dr. Fair will be laid to rest in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery during a graveside service on Friday, Feb. 23; the 2 p.m. service will be officiated by Pastor Dan Litfin. Her life will be further celebrated at Titus Funeral Home at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 3.

Memorial gifts may be given to the Animal Welfare League, PO Box 1906, Warsaw, IN 46581.

The Staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a great honor to have been trusted in the care of Talitha D. Fair.
