INDIANAPOLIS — The American Red Cross has responded to all of the damage caused by flooding by opening shelters in multiple northern Indiana counties.
Eight shelters are currently open, including shelters in our area at First United Methodist Church in South Bend, Central Christian Church in Elkhart, and Ancilla College in Plymouth. The American Red Cross is providing meals at the shelters.
The American Red Cross says there are more than 50 volunteers providing support in impacted areas.
