KOSCIUSKO — As the rain continues to fall, the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has declared flood warnings for many local rivers. Both the Tippecanoe and Eel rivers are rising and causing flooding in the northern part of the county.

Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters.

Detailed river forecasts and more information can be found on the internet at www.weather.gov/iwx under Rivers and Lakes.

Sand and bags are available at the Kosciusko County Highway facility on old 30 east of Warsaw. Bring your own shovel and manpower.
