Ruth L. Ridgway, 101, of Grace Village Assisted Living, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.

She was born the daughter of William and Bernice Goshert Rush on July 27, 1916, at Olkmulgee, Okla. On Nov. 25, 1937, she married Thurman Ridgway; he preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1992. She enjoyed volunteering and graduated from Mentone High School.

Surviving Mrs. Ridgway is her son, Stephen and Alisa Ridgway of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Hight of Etna Green; brothers: Don Rush of Fort Wayne and Carl Rush of Beaumont, Texas. Preceding in death were her parents, sisters: Mary Derry and Lena Hoffer; brothers: Paul Rush and Earl Rush.

Burial will follow at a later date in Mentone Cemetery.

A local memorial service is not planned at this time. The family would be grateful for any donations in memory of Ruth Ridgway to Grace Village Retirement Community.
