KOSCIUSKO — According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, Kosciusko and all surrounding counties are under a flood watch starting at noon today, Feb. 19, through Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Periods of moderate to occasionally heavy rain are likely to cause flooding on area streams, rivers, low lying and other flood prone areas. Amounts of generally 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday evening.

A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area, remain alert to this flooding potential the next several days.
