Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident.

4:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, North CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Michael C. Damron, North Walnut Street, Etna Green. Damron told police he was driving southbound on CR 500W near the intersection of CR 300N when a deer entered the roadway. Damron said he saw the deer at the last moment and was unable to avoid hitting the animal. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident.

11:26 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, West Lake Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lindsey P. Sand, South SR 15, Warsaw, Rachel M. King, North Old Farm Road, Warsaw. King told police she was driving her vehicle in the travel portion of the Subway parking lot when Sand backed out of a parking space. King said she honked her horn but Sand continued and the two vehicles struck each other. Damage up to $2,500.
