NORTH JUDSON – Cara Hoffman’s big scoring effort led the Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team to a win at North Judson Saturday.

Hoffman poured in a game-high 20 points as the Vikings edged the hosts 67-63.

Valley took a 20-11 lead after the opening period and then held off Judson down the stretch for the win.

Caylie Teel scored 16 points and Connor Fraser 12 as the Vikings improved to 5-8 on the season. Taylor Trippiedi had eight points and Kelsey Ball seven for Valley.

Jordann Frasure scored 18 points to lead North Judson, now 9-4.

Valley hosts NorthWood Tuesday night.
