WINONA LAKE – Argos got off to a quick start and never slowed down in posting a 62-15 girls basketball win at Lakeland Christian Academy Saturday night.

The Dragons led 11-2 after the first quarter and 27-2 at halftime versus the Cougars.

Karlee Vanderweele scored 12 points and Val Rospopo had 11 for Argos, which improved to 8-6 with the win.

Hannah Remington led LCA with five points. Alisa Gross and Emilee Catron each scored three points for the Cougars, who drop to 4-11.

LCA plays at Culver Academy Saturday. Argos plays at Oregon-Davis Thursday.
