ELKHART – The NorthWood Middle School girls basketball teams picked up a pair of wins over North Side Thursday evening.

The NorthWood 8th grade team notched a 21-16 win.

Kira Gongwer led the way with eight points. Emma Martz scored five points and Cybil Stillson four as NorthWood improved to 7-1.

Peyton Rangel led North Side with seven points.

The NorthWood 7th grade ladies posted a 31-21 victory.

Macy Lengacher led the winners with eight points. Gracelynn Harner and Carly Mast each added five points. Makyla Bonee had four points to go with five rebounds and five steals and Sophie Grueser also scored four points as NorthWood improved to 4-2.
