Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:49 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 200 block of East Burkhart Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to reports of a battery.
- 6:33 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2100 block of South SR 13, Pierceton. Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle out of Columbia City at the Speedway gas station in Pierceton.
- 1:53 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 8600 block of South CR 600W, Claypool, William South reported damage to his yard by a vehicle.
- 4:58 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1900 block of North CR 850E, Pierceton. A burglary was discovered at the residence of John Fashing.
- 4:53 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1900 block of North CR 850E, Pierceton. A burglary was discovered at the residence of David Bal.
- 4:51 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1900 block of North CR 850E, Pierceton. A burglary was discovered at the residence of Wendell Parks.
- 10:54 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 9500 block of North Miami Lane, Cromwell. Jack L. Mosurak reported the theft of gasoline.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1300 block of St. Marys Drive, Warsaw. Michael J. Caverley and Lora M. Caverley reported the theft of various items including a women’s wedding band, a bluetooth speaker, four cordless tools, a tablet and three power tool batteries. Value: $847.29
- 4:27 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 400 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Shawn David Stingel reported a hit and run.
- 5:54 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Officials at Walmart reported the theft of miscellaneous items, including four WiFi systems and several cameras. Value: $1,125.
