The Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team dropped a conference contest Thursday night at Northfield.

The hosts bolted to a 15-3 lead after the opening quarter en route to defeating the Vikings 54-32 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Northfield improves to 10-3 overall and 2-2 in the TRC. Valley falls to 4-8 overall and 2-2 in league action.

Valley plays at North Judson Saturday afternoon. Northfield plays at Mississinewa next Thursday night.
