NAPPANEE — Nurses from Goshen Health will be on hand to administer cardiac health assessments from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Nappanee Public Library.

A health professional will review your results and discuss whether a follow-up is recommended. Screening takes approximately five minutes. A cardiac health assessment is done through blood pressure monitoring and pulse check to determine rate and regularity. A portable sensor will be clipped on a finger to measure the oxygen concentration in the blood. For question on this screening, please call (877) 566-4660.

You must register and prepay by Thursday, Feb. 8 for the cholesterol screening. Appointments are limited. To register, please call (574) 364-2904. The Cholesterol test requires overnight fasting and appointment and costs $20.

Blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation screenings are free with no appointment needed.
