WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School girls basketball teams were both winners over Wawasee Tuesday night.

The Lakeview 8th grade squad posted a 33-29 win.

Cora West popped in 15 points to lead the way for the winners.

Tori Jones had six points and Yasminn Avila five for Lakeview. Sydni Purvis, Kiersten Parker and Lizzie Miner each had two points and Reggan Meadows one as Lakeview improved to 5-1.

West scored 14 points Monday night as Lakeview defeated Tippecanoe Valley 28-15. Jones had four points and Purvis three in that victory. The trio of Parker, Leslie Escutia and Brystal Hill each had two points and Avila one.

The Lakeview 7th grade team notched a 51-11 victory.

Rylee Burns scored a season-high 13 points to lead the undefeated Tigers.

Lauren Grose tallied nine points and Macy Wayne had seven points for the winners. Kenzie Adkins and Macy Perry each had five points, while Jules Leininger and Viv Zambrano each had four points and Mikayla Minminugh and Riley Burns each scored two points.

Lakeview, now 6-0, will play in the NorthWood Tournament on Saturday.
