Nancy Marie McGlothin of Winona Lake, passed away at 6:53 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at her residence at the age of 72.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1945 in Detroit, Mich., to Frederick Augustus Wootton and Erna Viola (Grube) Wootton. On Aug. 29, 1969 she was married to Stephen “Steve” David McGlothin.

McGlothin was a 1963 graduate of Redford High School in Redford, Mich., and a 1969 graduate of Detroit Bible College.  McGlothin was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 48 years where after moving to Winona Lake, she worked for Grace College and Seminary until 1972.  She was also a homemaker and helped her husband do the books for their business, Grace Janitorial Services in Warsaw. She had formerly been a member of Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw. McGlothin was dearly loved and she loved her friends, family and especially her grandchildren. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Steve McGlothin (Winona Lake); two sons:  Shannon (wife Shanda Evans) McGlothin (Brooklyn, New York); Jonathan (wife Vida Sacic) McGlothin (Chicago, Ill.); and her daughter: Dawn McGlothin (Winona Lake).  Also surviving are her two grandchildren:  Maxwell and Henry; brother:  Daniel (Nancy) Wootton (Spartanburg, South Carolina); and sister-in-Law:  Barbara McGlothin (Waterford, Mich.). 

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son Kyle at birth           

Her memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
