GOSHEN — An early morning house fire, Sunday, Jan. 7, at 22053 CR 45, Goshen, claimed the lives of two persons, who remain unidentified.

Elkhart County Emergency Dispatch received a call at 5:17 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, of a structure fire at that location.

According to the Elkhart County Coroner Jan Elliott, MDI, there were two deceased victims who are unidentified. Autopsies are scheduled for today, Monday, Jan. 8, in Kalamazoo, Mich.

The fire remains under investigation.
