KOSCIUSKO — For the fifth year in a row, the Kosciusko Board of Realtors partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and hosted 33 Littles and their Bigs in their Boots for Scholars Program.
On Saturday, Nov. 11, KBOR met and presented the children and their adult partners involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs each $40 gift cards at Shoe Carnival. KBOR and Big Brothers Big Sisters have partnered with Shoe Carnival five years in a row and would like to thank the excellent staff of Shoe Carnival for their gracious hospitality, including opening an hour early. Shoe Carnival’s dedication to the community in partnering in this event is stellar. The shopping spree to buy winter boots was followed by a breakfast hosted at Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber’s Warsaw office.
Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to help children reach their potential through support and one-to- one relationships. That mission fall right in line with KBOR’s belief that children and families are made stronger when the community works together as partners to assist and support families in need.
