Betty M. May, 84, Mishawaka, formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully in the Golden Living Center Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.
May was born on March 9, 1933 in Lexington, Ky. to Howard and Frances (Chiplay) Dulin. On April 9, 1949, May became the bride of William T. “Bill” May; they enjoyed 59 years of marriage when Bill May preceded her in passing Jan. 9, 2009. May worked for the United Telephone Company and the G & G Grocery store in Plymouth for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish May’s memory are her three daughters, Cathy McMillen, Plymouth; Lisa Gushwa, Plymouth; Toni and Tim Trump, Plymouth; her two sons, William T. “Bill” Jr., and Tammy May, Polk City, Fla.; Michael D. and Tonya May, Plymouth. May was further blessed with nine grandchildren. May had one sister and three brothers.
May is preceded in passing by her parents and her husband.
A graveside service in honor of Betty May will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, at the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
