
WARSAW — Three years have passed since autistic Warsaw resident Sarah Gibbs was murdered. Even after all this time, it has not been determined who killed Gibbs. Family and friends are still searching for closure.
On Dec. 19, 2014, as crews extinguished a house fire in the 1000 block of Smith Street in Warsaw, they discovered the body of 34-year old Sarah Gibbs. An autopsy determined she had been murdered prior to the fire.
Gibbs was well known around town and often frequented Marsh, Cardinal Services, Our Father’s House, the YMCA at it’s old location, Dollar General on Market Street and the Warsaw Community Public Library.
The family hopes that someone knows something related to her murder and will come forward with information.
