Carol L. Williamson, 66, Barbee Lake, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in the emergency room of Goshen Hospital.

She was born Nov. 28, 1951 in Columbia City, a daughter of Dale and Ruby (Snell) Dilts. Her formative years were spent in Larwill. She graduated from Pierceton High School.

On Dec. 2, 1972 she was united in marriage to Michael E. Williamson. They made their home in Pierceton and Warsaw area, moving to their home at Barbee Lake in 1985.

She worked many years as a cosmetologist at Headquarters East and then New Market as an assistant meat cutter.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Mike; two children, Michelle Kyles of Warsaw and Chad (Katrina) Williamson of Goshen; five grandchildren, Amber Kyles, Taylor Casey, Adrienne Kyles, Alexis Kyles and Isaiah Kyles; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Myers of Churubusco.

Her parents preceded her in death.

The visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. There will be no service.

Preferred memorials are to the final expense account payable to Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
