Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

7:23 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, SR 19, west of North CR 900W, Nappanee. Driver: Breana R. Penner, 18, North CR 1050W, Etna Green. Penner advised she had looked in her rearview mirror and when she looked back at the road she saw a horse and buggy turning left in front of her. Penner advised she applied her brakes but slid into the rear of the buggy. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

4:11 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, Argonne Road, south of East Durbin Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brooke M. Christoffel, 19, North First Street, Pierceton, and Jessica A. Moore, 30, South CR 525E, Pierceton. Christoffel’s vehicle rear-ended Moore’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

1:41 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, North SR 15 and East US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Laura L. Gater, 53, Wallace Avenue, Columbia City, and Megan A. Shepherd, 29, EMS B33A Lane, Warsaw. Gater’s vehicle rear-ended Shepherd’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
