Archie E. Parker, 86, passed away at 9:53 a.m. on Monday December 4, 2017 in his home.

Born in Hopkins County, Kentucky on July 13, 1931, Archie was the son of Charlie and Agnes (Oakley) Parker. He graduated from Hansen High School.

Archie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict until this Honorable Discharge in 1953.

He was a plumber for 35 years and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #172. Archie made Plymouth his home for past two years, coming from Tennessee. He was a member of the House of Prayer and the UAW.

Archie is survived by his daughters: Pamela Ann (Robert) Whisman of Walkerton and Bridget Marie (Lynn) Harner of Plymouth; seven grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte Parker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Raymond, Lucille, Wyman and Charles Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 8, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the House of Prayer, 12319 Plymouth-Goshen Trail, Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.

Burial will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Mich. at a later time.
