Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:22 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, East Bucher Drive, west of North CR 300E, Syracuse. Driver: James R. Hite, 72, North Hoss Hill Road, North Webster. Hite backed a school bus over the hood of a parked vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

6:51 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, South SR 25, West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Judith A. Parkinson, 78, West CR 200S, Warsaw, and Randall D. Garlock, 54, East CR 550N, Rochester. Parkinson failed to yield to Garlock and was forced into a utility pole due to the collision. Injured; Parkinson received cuts to her face and bleeding and was transported to KCH for treatment. Damages up to $10,000.

9:31 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, South SR 19, north of West SR 25, Mentone. Driver: Bethany A. Rohrer, 29, South CR 600W, Claypool. Hit a deer. Damages up to $5,000.

7:40 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, West US 30, west of North SR 19, Etna Green. Driver: Robert M. Wessel, 34, Hunter Trail, Tinley Park, Ill. Hit a deer. Damages up to $10,000.

6:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, North Syracuse Webster Road and North CR 700E, North Webster. Driver: Natalie J. Winters, 16, East Wawonaissa Drive, Syracuse. Winters attempted to turn at the last minute but was unable to make it, striking a REMC utility pole guide wire. Damages up to $2,500.

6:33 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, North SR 15 and West CR 1000N, Milford. Drivers: Christina L. Rangel, 29, Hawthorn Drive, Warsaw, and Garold L. Robinson, 31, East Center Street, Sidney. Rangel’s vehicle swiped Robinson’s when attempting to pass him. Damages up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, North Indiana Avenue, south of North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Driver: Heather Stoppenhagen, 33, Ems T46 Lane, Leesburg. Hit a deer. Damages up to $1,000.
