SUDBURY, Mass. (WSYX/WTTE) — It’s safe to say “Christmas Vacation” is one of the most memorable holiday movies thanks to a variety of outlandish scenes used for comedic effect. One of those moments came to life over the weekend in Massachusetts.

Someone apparently followed Clark Griswold’s blueprint of putting a giant tree on top of a much smaller vehicle in the town of Sudbury.

On its Facebook page, police posted the photo of a giant evergreen tree on top of a blue vehicle, which has been shared hundreds of times.

“Sudbury PD would like to remind you to transport your Holiday trees responsibly,” department officials wrote in the caption for the photo.

It’s unknown if the driver was cited. The department did not immediately respond to a request for additional details
