WARSAW — Cameron Hunter, 18, Warsaw, has been handed his sentence for a sexual battery charge, a level 6 felony, stemming from events that occurred on Sept. 8, 2016, when Hunter reportedly inappropriately touched a child.
Judge David Cates rejected Hunter’s plea agreement on Oct. 2, in part due to the fact that Hunter had not been accepted into any community corrections program, a requirement of the plea agreement.
This morning, Nov. 27, Cates reinstated that plea deal and sentenced Hunter to 2 1/2 years suspended and to be served on probation.
