Jerry Knepper, 81, Plymouth, died on Nov. 12, 2017, at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth.

Jerry was born in Burr Oak of March 27, 1936 to the late Maro and Opal (Thornburg) Knepper. On May 2, 1964 he married Anna Chidalek who preceded him in death. He later married Wilda Burt on December 30,
2012.

Jerry was a meat cutter by trade. He worked in several grocery stores throughout the area over the years. He was particularly proud of the work he did at the Culver A & P. He also spent many years bartending at the old Lakeview Tavern in Culver. He regularly attended the Plymouth Baptist Church. Jerry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and rarely missed a game.

Jerry is survived by his wife Wilda Burt Knepper of Plymouth; children Jon (Carolyn) Knepper of Sulphur, La., Jackie (Rick) Jozwiak of Middlebury, Brad (Lawrie) Knepper of Sandwich, Ill., and Chad (Colleen) Knepper of Plymouth; step-children MaryBeth (Larry) Houin, Plymouth, BJ (Becky) Burt of Grovertown, and Rob (Jill) Burt of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon Knepper, daughter Jolene Knepper, a step-
granddaughter, and a great grandson.

There will be a visitation at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16. Funeral services will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, on Friday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Clark Harless officiating. A dinner will follow the service at the Plymouth Baptist Church in Plymouth.

Memorial contributions may be made to Marshall Co. Hospice in lieu of flowers.
