Patricia A. Kauffman, 57, Bremen, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the Hospice House of Elkhart, Ind.

She was born on July 7, 1955, to Roger D. Weil and Willodene “Keifer” Schrock in Elkhart. She married Vernon Kauffman, Sr.; he survives.

Patricia was a member of the Granger Community Church.

Patricia is survived by her mother and father; step-father: Marvin Schrock; step-mother: Joyce Weil; two sons: Michael L. Weaver, Goshen, Ind.; Vernon (Lisa) Kauffman, Jr., Nappanee, Ind.; two granddaughters: Brenna Weaver, Warsaw, Ind.; and Kaitlyn Kauffman, Nappanee; two step-sons: Mark Kauffman, Bremen; Gary Kauffman, Bremen; and three sisters: Lynn Cribbs, Bremen; Vicki Brant, Berrien Springs, Mich.; and Cindi Holbrook, Faulkville, Ala.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

The family requests that anyone wishing to contribute a memorial, give an offering to their local church in memory of Patricia.
