WARSAW – The WCHS wrestling program is set to teach young grapplers the sport.

Coach Kris Hueber’s program will hold a free wrestling camp for elementary students in grades 3-6 starting Nov. 13. The camp will be held from 5-6:15 p.m. on five Monday nights in the wrestling room at WCHS.

Camp dates are Nov. 13, Nov. 20 and Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. Coaches and wrestlers from the high school team will work with campers on basic fundamentals and technique.

The free camp wants to provide new opportunities for student athletes during the winter season and also give both athletes and parents an opportunity to find out what the sport of wrestling is all about without the commitment of lots of time and money.

A registration form and waiver does need to be filled out and brought to the first night of camp on Nov. 13.
