Audrey Fancil, 87, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, in Mason’s Health Care Center, Warsaw.

On Dec. 8, 1925, she was born to Albert and Audrey B. (Rathbun) Neher in Silver Lake, Ind. She married Harold Fancil on Feb. 14, 1948, in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1995.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Audrey worked for Sun Metal for 10 years and then worked for White Metal for 25 years. Audrey was a member of First Brethren Church, Warsaw. after retiring, she became active as a Senior Citizens Center Volunteer.

She is survived by her son: Terry (Candice) Fancil, Milford, Ind.; a daughter: Marsha Kay Fancil, Fort Wayne, Ind.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Shipman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
