WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team opened its season with a win Monday night.

Kyle Dawson had a big effort as Lakeview topped NorthWood 50-35.

Dawson netted 16 points to go with 13 rebounds in the win. Judah Simfukwe had 15 points for Lakeview.

The Lakeview 7th grade boys team lost to NorthWood 36-20.

Reilley Wood led Lakeview with eight points. Jackson Gould and Jonney Burritt each had five points.
