It won’t be long after the presents are unwrapped that parents will start hearing “I’m bored!” Pack the kids up and bring them to Family Movie Time at the North Webster Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 27.

There will be two showings at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. of a family comedy sequel about a canine family who moves into a luxurious hotel and discovers trouble in puppy paradise. Bring your own beverages and enjoy free popcorn while watching this hilarious G-rated, 90-minute movie.

Every wonder what toys do when we’re not around? Bring them to the Stuffed Animal Sleepover Dec. 28-29 and find out.  On Friday, Dec. 28, children are invited to bring a stuffed toy or doll to the Library at 5 p.m. for Evening Story Time and then leave their buddy for the night for the toys’ very own sleepover.

The toys got into plenty of trouble at the last Stuffed Animal Sleepover at North Webster Public Library. Wonder what kind of mischief they’ll make at their next sleepover on Dec. 28. Bring your stuffed animal to the library and find out!

The children return the next morning between 10 a.m. and noon to pick up their toys and watch a slide-show of their nighttime adventures. You won’t believe all the mischief that toys can get into during their night at the NWPL. Juice and doughnuts will be served, too.

The NWPL staff is looking forward to celebrating the holidays with their library family at the Cozy Christmas Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, in the North Webster Community Center Banquet Hall. Everyone is invited to this free evening with refreshments, prizes and entertainment by Wawasee High School’s Vocal Motion.

The NWPL will close early at 6 p.m. that evening so the entire staff can attend.  See you there!

Remember the NWPL will be closed all day on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Dec. 24-25, so our staff can spend time with their families. The library will also be closed all day on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
