Ruby Irene Sausaman
Ruby Irene Sausaman, 93, Warsaw, passed away at 2 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1923 in South Bend, to Daisy Mae Lake and Ralph Noggle. On Nov. 2, 1941 she was united in marriage to Rex I. Sausaman who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1941 and worked as a farmer most of her life and also worked in an ammunition factory during World War II. She was a member of the Dutchtown Brethren Church. She enjoyed needlework and sewing along with gardening and spending time with her beloved family.
She is survived by her daughters: Nancy (Bob) Framme of Churubusco, Sally (and deceased spouse Fritz) Kahlenberg of Tampa, Fla. son: Ron (Evelin) Sausaman of Las Vegas, Nev., sister: Norma Loe of Provo, Utah and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special family friend, Linda McCleary of Warsaw, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6 in Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Jack Worth officiating.
