Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:37 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, North Copeland Street, south of West Hudson Street, Warsaw. Driver: Jacob A. Slone, 19, North Copeland Street, Warsaw. Larry R. Krygowski’s vehicle was sideswiped while parked in front of his house by Slone. Slone got in his car and drove away following the accident. Damages up to $10,000.

7:43 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Driver: Hildegard Dorris, 84, South Ferguson, Warsaw, failed to yield to an unknown driver who drove away after the collision. Damages up to $5,000.

6:46 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, South CR 450W, south of West CR 350, Warsaw. Driver: Kevin W. White, 57, West CR 525S, Claypool, hit a deer. Damages up to $2,500.

2:48 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, West CR 600N and North CR 500W, Leesburg. Drivers: James W. Skinner, 77, Michigan Road, Plymouth, and Roxanne R. Leal, 53, North CR 300E, Milford. Skinner failed to yield to Leal. Damages up to $5,000.

1:34 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, East CR 1200S, east of South CR 300E, North Manchester. Driver: Nelda D. Edgecomb, 30, South CR 700E, North Manchester. Edgecomb’s grain truck’s rear axle broke while drive, causing the truck to overturn. Damages up to $100,000.

5:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, East Wooster Road, west of South CR 500E, Pierceton. Driver: Trevis A. Smith, 26, South Seventh Street, Pierceton. Smith’s vehicle ran off the road and struck sever fence posts and a gate. Smith sustain fatal internal injuries to the head. Damages up to $10,000.

6:20 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, East CR 1400N and North CR 560E, Syracuse. Driver: Richard A. Hunsberger, 20, Us Highway 6, Syracuse, hit a deer. Damages up to $2,500.

4:39 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, South CR 450W, north of West CR 525S, Claypool. Driver: David W. Sleeth, 42, South CR 425W, Claypool, hit a deer. Damages up to $10,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, US 30, west of Silveous Crossing, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas J. Camarota, 54, State Route 4, Marysville, Ohio, hit a deer. Damages up to $5,000.
